Access to the cathedral for visitors will be limited on 26, 27 and 28 June and 1, 2 and 3 July as we celebrate Durham University students' graduations.
During Durham University Summer Congregations 9am - 5pm, there will be limited access to the cathedral, with the only the cloisters, restaurant and shop open.
The cathedral's shop and restaurant will remain open with their usual opening times (9.30am-4.30pm). Visitors can access these areas through the rear entrance to the cathedral, through the archway with the red gate and the area called The College.

Late Night Opening
During the Summer Congregations, we are opening the cathedral, museum and shop on select evenings from 6.30pm - 9pm, as well as offering the opportunity to climb the tower at sunset and see Durham Cathedral in LEGO®.
